There seems to be next to no excitement or anticipation for the forthcoming marriage of Prince Albert, to be held in about four weeks' time if I'm not mistaken?  Is it still on?!!!  Why isn't the media showing interest or am I just missing it all?

IMO it´s just that this couple is utterly boring. Not that William and Kate are more exciting, God no, but the BRF is popular in the USA + William is Dianas son.
Niki Lauda said that they should have marry before the British Royals, because no one is really interested in the Monaco wedding. I also heard that the people in Monaco aren´t that excited. If Charlene would be US-American maybe the media had more interest?

Latest photos of Charlene in the US-Vogue

I like the first one, the second one is weird.

The last months they gave dozens of interviews and many photo shoots. But the interest ist still not big. Maybe they should have been decent.

She is very pretty but a tad cold. She looks more icy than even Grace Kelly, the second photo made her look awkward like Sheena, Queen of the Jungle (maybe the fact she is from South Africa...?).

Thanks for the updates, Rani.

If the second photograph in the swimsuit is recent, Miss Wittstock does herself and her future subjects no favours in my opinion.  It looks more appropriate for an actress in a forthcoming action movie than a princess-in-waiting.  It's confronting and unfeminine.  I have doubts over the woman Albert has chosen as his bride (she already seems to have made some serious blunders) but time will tell and it's fair she be given a chance to prove her worth.

Maybe it is an acting role after all. Princess Grace once said her greatest role is being the Princess of Monaco.

Well, Princess Charlene has blundered again...the morning after the religious ceremony. So apparently, the Prince & Princess of Monaco threw a brunch for a group of European royals on July 3rd. I cannot believe that Charlene actually wore a semi-see-through white dress to the shin dig. It’s the last photo after the jump.

Umm, excuse me? Are you kidding? So tacky. Utterly speechless at this point.

Where is it semi-see-through?  It just looks like a white dress to me?

I am with Grace on this. The woman is beautiful and shows a good body for design couture.  If someone gets speechless over this, they have  puritan concern to deal with. Of the 3 recent royal weddings, I think this one the classiest.

BTW, Monaco does not have "subjects" no country does. It has CITIZENS.

Even the Monaco Prince has an extended family of citizens.  But his family is very unusual.  Some live in the palace and some live outside the palace. Even his little son can stroll by the palace gates and exclaim.."My papa lives in that palace."
