I managed to find the photos on the website, Alex, but sadly I cannot read Russian, is there anyway to translate it all? It looks like a marvelous website if only I could read it. :-[

Hi Maria !

Babelfish is a great tool for Russian translation! You can do parts or by url.

I am still looking at the photograph albums before I start to translate!

Great website.  The pictures are a treasure, and I also love the fact that Alexei's complete diary for 1916 is there.  I read all the entries for the month of January.  This site is a great source and a very touching tribute.  Thank you again for posting it.

Alexei's birthday is this Friday, will they be showing anything on the television in the USA for it or is it only in Russia? I would love to see the memorial and pictures from it but I don't know if it will be on television. ???

There is a link on alexis-romanov.narod.ru to a Romanov Museum in Moscow:

http://www.museum-romanov.narod.ru/

It is slow process to translate for me but has anyone seen this or visited the museum in Moscow and can give insight of it?
