I sent it as a "private message", maybe that feature doesn't work... Basically I just said that Bob suggested I contact you to ask about posting an account of my visit to AP and some pictures. I was hoping you could tell me where to post it and how... Thanks.

Thanks Rob, give me a few days. Can I email you a link to the pictures instead of attachments? Attachments take too long and can only be sent 3 at a time.

Apparently there was some problem with the images earlier today, but it seems to have cleared up now. It may take a couple of minutes for all the pictures to show up, but they are there. If you continue to have problems, Rob Moshein (the administrator) was the one working on this, so you may want to let him know. Thanks.

Helen, thanks so much for posting your wonderful memories, it was a joy to read them. It must have been such a moving experience, being in so many of these precious places..

Me and husband just got back from a two week stay in St. Petersburg. Granted, we're still fighting jetlag and general exhaustion from our vacation (my word "this ain't no resting vacation!")

I haven't yet had a chance to look at my photos. We took around two hundred digital photos and I also purchashed around 20 books with unique photos in them.

Anyway, I'd love to share what we saw when we were there. I took extensive photos of the old private rooms in the Winter Palace and some at the Alexander Palace.

A big thanks to Bob Atchison, b/c without this site, I'm not sure that I would have ever been inclined to visit the fabulous, wonderful city of St. Petersburg!!!!!
