Amy, I would love to read about your trip, see some of the pictures and "compare notes"  :)

Thank you all for the encouragement! And yes, I would love to provide information on my recent trip. Although I can't promise any that it will any time soon . :) I'm thinking it might take me a few weeks to gather my thoughts and assemble what needs to be assembled.

I would like to make a suggestion. First off hi to all my friends, for  during the first new letter back in the late 90’s I had written a small article.  It’s been sometime. But I’ve never really been that far out of touch. This month coming I’ll be taking a trip to St. Petersburg "work related" accordingly I’m taking a few extra days  for my own exploring. I’m taking along with me two cameras One a Nikon 35m long range zoom and wide angle zoom lens to accompany that I’m also taking a  Canon PowerShot 5.0-Megapixel Digital Camera. Even though I’m going in the dead of winter. I do plan on snapping until my finger can no longer snap.

It’s my second visit to my great grandmothers birthplace. The first was again purely work-related. Which left me only a half day  to visit TS. My great-grandmother  was born and lived somewhere on Malaya Ul. Although we are not precisely sure of the home or the number. If anyone would like specific photos I’ll do me best to make sure that they are taken. J. Bettano.
