Dolls of the Stuarts
« on: February 08, 2005, 06:03:42 PM »
Hello. I thought some people here might be interested in this pretty doll, but I didn't want to put it in the Romanov Dolls section. So here it is.

Mary, Queen of Scots:

I think it's very realistic!
I ran across it looking for OTMA dolls at Crees and Coe dollmakers co.

I am not usually very keen on these dolls, but I have to say this one is very good - beautifully and very authentically dressed.   Thank you for posting it moonlight_tsarina.

Thanks Tsaria!
I though the same thing, it is very realistic looking, and worthy enough of this forum! lol

Wow! I don't know why, but I've always thought it was pretty neat when someone decided to make dolls of royals authentic to what they actually looked like in person and what they wore during their time. Are there any dolls like that out of the Imperial Family of Russia (NAOTMAA)...besides the ones from the 1997 cartoon of "Anastasia"? (I actually still have mine! lol... :D)

Is it possible still to obtain this doll - and are there others? I notice the plurals in the title ....

RomanovFan- I still have my Anastasia doll from the 1997 movie too! (I was all of 6 when it came out, I didn't know anything about the Romanovs to know it was innacurate.)
