Hmm at least in chile you wont find books about royalty in the libraries...Things are slightly different in that field here, in south america...

The same goes for Argentina. Books on royalty are really rare. I consider myself very lucky whenever I find a royalty book...

I think if the interests are stronger in South America maybe the book stores will sell more royalty books.

Its even hard to find books about Royalty (expt the Brittish) and old royals in America in bookstores.  Here only easily you can find books about Queen Elizabeth II, her son and grandsons, her late and x-daughter in law Diana the Princess of Wales, whom I don't care for.

Use bookstores are good to find about some old royals, but not so much.

Well. They do have some if it famous authors like Hugo Vickers. The ones on the daughters & grandaughters of Queen Victoria isalso available in Borders & Barnes & Noble. Britian has more selection are far as Royalty books go.

The biography about Marie Gabrielle in Bavaria by Mr. Huber also contains a lot of pictures as well as the biography about Antonia of Luxemburg by Jean-Louis Schlim.

And there is the famous "Fanilienalbum von Kaiser FJ und Elisabeth" by Gabriele Praschl-Bichler ... but it's really hard to get.

There is also Sisis Familienalbum by Werner Bokelberg (ed.). One section is about the Wittelsbach relations. The photos are very small, and some of the captions are incorrect, but it's nevertheless a nice little book. Unfortuantely, it is also out of print and not easy to find.

When I bought this book years ago, most of the cdvs were unknown to me. But meanwhile a lot of them were scaned and shown in all those discussion boards about Elisabeth and her family. I think you would be able to find 70% of the pictures online today.
