I read the same thing. She did have a human side of her that she didn't display a lot. She was reserved. Although, I would like to believe that she would've rather loved the man she was going to marry. Dutieful as she was, I believe that it would've been a tough decision for her.

That's true. Perhaps duty would not have come so easily to her as we think it would have. I think she either had a side she didn't display much, or we misinterpret her on the basis on those who knew her, who may have only seen her public image. So she is more of a romantic than we know, although she was the governor as well, as her family called her. She might have made a good consort.
