I have heard Trans-Siberian and seen them in concert.  I agree that they have great music, but I have never connected them with the Romanovs.

Hi Anastasia_R,

As a matter of fact, I heard them on the radio today.
They were playing the exact music you have mentioned.
I really did enjoy their music. Thanks for sharing your input.

Really?Wow!
How was the concert? What did they play?
I'm still racking my brain trying to figure out how I connected.I think it's just something about the music.

The concert was excellent.  They played all of their first cd, then several of their popular songs from other cds and material that has not yet been released.  They had a laser light show and fire and stuff...it was awesome! ;D

The music is wonderful!Definately ask parents if they have any of the CDs or ask them for Christmas-you'd really like it! :D
Go onto the site and when you get to the main page,go under "Multimedia"and under"Christmas Eve and Other Stories"select"CHristmas Eve in Sarajevo".The other ones are excellent also!

Well, it is very Slavic!

I LOVE their music. I have all three of their Christmas CD's and was listening to  "The Lost Christmas Eve" earlier today. I would love to go see them in concert sometimes.

As to what type of music they play it's not easy to describe, some people think they are a bit like Mannheim Steamroller but I think they are more " rock" than "classical."

Actually, I think they're all from New York City.  I honestly don't know where the name "Trans-Siberian" came from. ???

OOO!Lucky.Maybe I'll just take my mums ticket.;)
On Manheim Steamroller-I don't think that they are anything like Manheim Steamroller(in my opinion).Even though they are from NYC,they definately sound Slavic, like Sarushka said.I have almost all their CDs except for MOZART'S LAST NIGHT and THE CHRISTMAS ATTIC. ;D
