I had--I guess you'd call it a day dream because I wasn't asleep---but in it, I was in the Ipatiev House on the night of July 17, 1918, and I was watching from the bottom of the steps, NAOTMAA coming down after being woken up suddenly. It was like I was there from the future and no one could see me; but I didn't know that. I thought one of the guards would find me and shoot me or something. Anyway, I watched as they were led down to the cellar; a few mintues passed after they were told to wait, and as soon as I realized what the firing squaud was going to do, I ran down the stairs and into the room, but there was something like a force field keeping me from them, so I couldn't save them. It was really scary. Alix was the first to go; then Olga...and I watched Masha, and Anastasia crouch down by the back door, screaming and covering their heads. I couldn't find Tatiana in the smoke, but as soon as I looked around I saw her lying there, motionless next to her mother. When I looked back to where the younger girls had been, one of the bolsheviks came over and started stabbing them with their boyonet; I had to turn my head at that point. I couldn't watch.

After it was all over, the guards brought stretchers in; when Anastasia was lifted off the floor and layed on the stretcher she sat up and cried out, "help me!". I'm standing there watching this whole, thing and as soon as she was quieted I woke up. I felt horrible when I woke up because I couldn't save them! It's like watching a movie about history repeating itself over and over until someone stops it....

PS. Sorry if I scared anybody...

I haven't a a dream about the Romanovs in a long time.

Alexei (in his 20s) and I were married and we had two little girls -Alexandra "Alexa" and Kristina "Krissie" (named since in the dream she was born in Denmark and named after the King at the time, see below) and they were from infants to toddlers as the dream goes on.
It was Alexei, a nurse, and two servants and I went to check on the girls, in their lovely nursery and the ghost of Peter III was terrifying them and we went to confort them, then the tsar ghost attacked us, I grabbed the eldest girl and ran out the room while the rest followed with the baby Krissie in Alexei's arms (plus he shouted something ? don't remember and said the baby's name)
becomes a blur..
then we're in Livaida, with some guests at the time Alexei told them the story of Krissie's birth and was glad the she was a girl since he and  the Russians wouldn't be happy if a future Tsar was born on Danish soil instead of Russian soil.
In the dream the marriage was a happy blissfully one, we were always happy with each other and he holding my hand while setting next to me. by the end of the dream, we (A,the girls, a few other people,my godmother and I) were at a type of fair and little rides which we put the girls on.  My godmother asked me about Alexei's illness and wanted to know about it and how he feels about it or something (don't remember)
and i told her he smiles but  his eyes appear cold and  he says "I'll tell you later dear.." (he hates to be asked about his illness)
I didn't realized he was right behind me when i told her that and he asked me to come with him (somewhere)
becomes a blur...
next minute he picks me up and  swings me around, then kisses me, holding me tightly.  I told him not to hold me tightly, he asked why not. I said "I'm with child".  he smiles and kisses me some more....
blurs again...and ends.

it was so realistic and it was very strange at the same time. I woke up and called my boyfriend to make sure it wasn't real...it was a bitter sweet dream. it was bitter since it would never happen and most of all i wouldn't be with my boyfriend -who can be a pain in the butt!- but other then that i love him and he tells me he loves me everyday, and he does treat me like a princess! :)

Once I dreamt it was raining, and I was running for the bus stop. When I got there, I find four girls in different school uniforms lined up chatting. Who else but OTMA! I was like 'Woah! What are you doing there?' but they just stared at me. It was as if I was invisible to them! I woke up before the dream could go on...
Another one is that I dreamt I was asleep and I woke up. I was in the Ipatiev House celler and NAOTMAA were there waiting for the guards. Then the guards came in and were a bit stunned to see me there. I paniced a little but decided to bribe the guards telling them how good their Red Army was doing and most gave in their guns and bayonets, apart from Yakov Yurovsky who insisted on keeping hold of his gun. So then I sat them all down and we watched Nicholas and Alexandra the 1971 film. OTMA liked the scene when their have a paint fight in the woods with Mousier Gilliard  ;D I missed out the end scene since I don't particularly like it, a bit too sad of me.

Both were recent dreams. I've not been a fan of the family for that long, so I haven't had that many.

Interesting ones below!!  ;)
I've only had one in all my life, it was aproximately one year ago (perhaps a bit more).
At first I was watching a documentary apparently about the Russian Imperial Family (those with black and white videos) and suddenly it wasn't only a simple program but I was there too  :o
I could saw them at outdoors, like an extense yard. I could saw NAOTMAA there and going into a carriage. I was a simple observer of them, they couldn't see me or I couldn't talk to them.

Dreams about OTMA?
« Reply #19 on: February 08, 2014, 05:30:42 AM »
Does anyone ever dream of OTMA or any of the other Romanovs? I've recently started having many dreams about OTMA (again). Last night I dreamed I saw footage of OTMA in captivity, and (in the weird twisted-ness of dreams) visited the last place they were before they died - Kentucky. Ugh, dreams are awful, ha. But in all seriousness, it was SO tear-jerking and I weeped when I woke up.

By the way, I'm new here! But I've been an avid follower of APTM and it has proved invaluable to my research. Thank you !

Welcome 'Dev'. I see it didn't take you long to use that recently revealed Olga photo as your profile pic!

To answer your question, yes, I too have had a handful of Romanov dreams and they're surprisingly vivid and detailed. Certainly not all dreams are. One of my first posts on this forum was a what-if scenario following a dream where I was one of the Tsar's ADCs during the war, infatuated with Olga N and having some future insights on the fate of the family and empire (as though I was time warped back to 1915 or '16).

Interesting stuff. Of course if you spend a lot if your time and energies reading about a particular topic it stands to reason you'd be more likely to dream about that topic as well.

edus31,

Yes, I too have surprisingly vivid Romanov dreams! I had a bizarre one last night - a Cuban (I have no idea why...) tv station was interviewing two actresses playing Olga and Tatiana (who looked just like the ones in The Romanovs: An Imperial Family) about a TV movie based on a fictional story that the Tsar bought a luxurious townhouse in London where he, Alix and OTMAA lived for a couple weeks every year. It followed the friendships between OTMA and their neighbor's own daughters.

I dream a lot, not very much about the Romanovs though. I usually end up in a concentration camp in my dreams. Absolutely terrible!
However, I do remember one Romanov dream.
I was Alexandra and Nicky and I were in bed, asleep.
Suddenly, the revolution struck and we woke up. Everything was on fire.
My first thought was; "Oh my god, I must save my diamonds".
I jumped out of bed, ran across the room, opened "my" jewellery box and stuffed my mouth with diamonds.
A moment later I woke up, completely sure that I still had the diamonds in my mouth.

Dreams can be very very strange!

Geez Erika, your dreams have quite the nightmarish quality to them...concentration camps and burning buildings!

Here's hoping that you don't wind up next to the IF in the Ipatiev basement sometime soon :-(

Now that is a weird dream.  I wonder what Freud would have made of it.

Lol, Freud would have been delighted that this dream complies with his theories like a delicate little lady's hand in a snug kid skin glove, to use a Freudian expression:
Obviously the genital stage, represented by intercourse with the husband (who is a potentially potent autocrat, but rejected because of political impotence (and as we know AF was stronger-willed than her husband), is rejected in favour of an infantile stage, with its own conflicting desires: Anal retention ("must save my diamonds") and oral pleasure ("stuff my mouth with diamonds"). That this oral action does not seem all pleasurable is perhaps down to AF's early loss of her mother, the primary source of her infantile oral pleasure.
Does the "jewelry box" perhaps represent the imperial vagina, the female recipient filled by the emperor?

But how a Romanov fan could dream one of AF's dreams, now for an answer to that I think we should consult Madame Blavatsky rather than Dr. Freud!
