How about Burke Ramsey, brother of JonBenét, whose murder is coming up on ten years unsolved?   :(  Which will be found first, Alexei's remains or who killed JonBenét?   :'(

I say their looks might be kinda good for a Nicholas & Alexandra remake! But I don't think they would have the acts. :-/ What does anyone think of Phillip Alford?

I love your choices, CorisCapnSkip!!!!!!!!! Freddie Highmore is an amazing actor, of course he'd be able to convey Aleksei's emotions! He's also very slight..which is great for the parts of the movie when Aleksei is suffering from his Hemophilia which would be about 2/3 of an N & A remake, I believe.
And the Olsen twins do look like Maria..now thats just scary..!
But those pics of Jackie Coogan kinda scared me..too close, too close! :o They even pose almost the same.

Since the Encyclopedia image disappeared and I can't seem to edit the post, here's another picture of Jackie Coogan which matches the bottom one of Alexei even better:



It would be interesting to know his ethnic heritage and background!

Woah, Jackie Coogan looks alot like my grandmothers brother..great-uncle, perhaps? And I always did think he looked alot like Aleksei. Theres a nice B & W pic of him from  a portrait session at my grandparents'. I'll get to scanning it soon.
I think Lukas Haas looks alot like Prince Luitpold of Bavaria.

Anyway here is my belated scan of my grandmothers brother [and my great-grandmother, whom I do not ressemble  ;D]. I think Danny (thats my grandmothers brother) ressembles Aleksei slightly.
