There is no crime, no murder, no massacre that cannot be justified, provided it be committed in the name of an Ideal.”

I didn't know where to put this and since he is a French historical figure who caused the downfall of Louis VI and Marie Antoniette.

Using the mould of Robespierre's death mask made by Madame Tussaud after his execution. Phillipe Froesch  used the mould to recreate the head of Robespierre.   It truly is interesting and he included the pock mark scars of Robespierre's face.

I am all for a good revolution that over throws tyrannical govts especially monarchies, but man Robespierre is just something else. He seems just as bad if not worse than the people at Versailles, except I don't recall the Kings whipping people up into a blood thirsty frenzy. How many people did Louis XIV XV and XVI execute during their individual reigns compared to Robespierre's terror?
