when the Irina's age in 1925, was pointed out, i had to admit the portrait just didn't match up correctly.
so i went back & checked...
i'd like to apologize. in my haste, i attached the caption for the portrait of Irina Yusupova Sr,
the wrong image. the caption just said "princess Irina Yuspova, 1925" and since i had the wrong image (the one i posted) of a young woman,
i assumed it was Bébé.
i have the images stored in one file and the info for them stored in another -- some images have quite alot of information,.
and i just wasn't paying attention.
sadly, we're not allowed to self-censor our own posts --- which i don't actually understand...
but that's a horse of a different color.
the portrait i posted as Bébé, is actually:

(trans: "Maria Butakova, nee Evreinova.1931")
the artist's name is not listed in the info i have for either image,
and i trust svetabel, so i'll go along with her, that the portrait is by
Zenaida Serebryakova --- she's the artist for the senior Irina's portrait, anyway.
and as the styles look the same or very similar, i still say both are done by the same artist.
so, once again, i sincerely apologize -- the image i posted was NOT Bébé!! :-(
