Some were sold by the republic and others are today in the Louvre

I was looking for Photos of Prince Imperial , son of Napoleon III. His tragic death in the Zulu war (being speared to death and mutilated) brought a tear to my eye. He died like a true hero. May his soul rest in peace!

He was a very handsome young man. I read that Infanta Pilar or Paz (which one died young) was in love with him. His mother made a pilgrimage to the site where he died a few years after his death.
