Xenia's tiara is made up with one of MF's necklaces. Looks like the pieces were separated to make the tiara.
MF had a parure, maybe they dismanteled the tiara, but I have the feeling it would be easier to separate the necklace...

Hello everyone, I'm new here, but I've been a fan of the Romanovs for years. Anyway, I would like to ask if anyone has photographs of the Grand Duchess Ksenia Aleksandrovna (Xenia)? I've seen a few here and there, but there aren't really enough online. If you can help, thanks a bunch!

I do not want to build a new thread , so I will write hear:
I have found a  curious  statement of Mr. Abrikosov, who was the Russian Ambassador in Japan in 1913.
He said that he used to go to Nagasaki where  he often saw a  beautiful young man , who was the illegitimate son of the Alexandr Mikhaylovich.

Maybe Nicholas always made somebody in Japan, how did some of his fellows from the  " Pamyaty Azova".
For example there is quite well known example of the son of famous  Chemical Scholar Mendeleev , who made
a small girl to whom Father Mendeleev sent money often.

This is all really neat, and that photo of the family is also great--it's one I've never seen anywhere before, so even though it's not the best quality, it's still definately worth it. Was it because of your scanner that it showed up like that? Just wondering, because I know my scanner shows up with lines across the pictures, which is kind of similar....But anyway...Thanks for showing these, they're great.

 I was reading somthing about Grand duchess xenia
in her later years it said that she had a person called " Mother martha" with her who controlled her quite a bit
does any one know weather this is true and if so is there any information about " mother Martha?
