Yes...I think they are trying to return to its Russian roots. Before it was Alexander, Michael and Nicholas (for males) and Catherine, Anna, Alexandra and Marie (for females).

That came from a new book on Empress Maria Feodorovna, the picture itself is from the Russian State archives.

Who is the auther of the new book on Empress Marie Feodorovna?  And are there more pictures of Xenia in the book?

Yes, i know it's a Russian book, but i was so hoping for an English translation or something close to it.  It looks like a beautiful photo biography and I certainly wish I had access to it (and subsequently understand it!)

Yes it would be love to learn Russian. I might go there next year. as I am now a member of the Eastern Orthodox Church. I might even get to visit the many monestaries (including Ella's of course).

I have become interested in Hampton Court lately and especially Wilderness House where the GD Ksenia died.  Are there any good links to pictures of the Wilderness House?  Does anyone know who lived there with her?

She had some retainers who lived there with her, I believe. There's probably some good information on her house and household in the bio Coryne Hall & John van der Kiste did.
