was everyone gay those days then? (about william having affairs with other men...)

LOL! Thankfully no, or the human race would have died out! Ideally, William deserves his own thread, but in short, it had not been proved that he had sexual relations with his friends - the Earl of Albermarle and another I cannot remember. Likwise, he seems to have had an 'affair' with Elizabeth Villiers, but not actually slept with her.

He was devoted to Mary after her death, but before that he was generally just tolerant with her - they were totally different personalities. But I agree that he is an unlikely homosexual, expecially given his relationship with Elizabeth Villiers.

i'm sure there were plenty of gay men in the past too, but not all men who were good friends with other men slept with them :P

Here's what wikipedia thinks:

William is assumed by some modern scholars to have been bisexual. He had several male favourites, including a Rotterdam bailiff Van Zuylen van Nijveld. He granted English dignities to two of his Dutch courtiers: Hans Willem Bentinck became Earl of Portland, and Arnold Joost van Keppel was created Earl of Albemarle.

I like the story of Anne's cousin Edward Hyde who was governor of New York in the early 1700s. He may or may not have been gay but he liked to dress in women's clothing - and dressed up as Queen Anne saying that as he was the queen's representative it was OK! It must have been quite a sight.

I expect he would have to have them taken in though.
Or maybe she sent the ones that she couldn't get into any more. ;D

Yes........(horrible vision of Anne trying unsuccessfully to squeeze into the early eighteenth century equivalent of ski-pants and having the whole lot shipped of to America).

Back to topic, does anyone know how much she weighed, say in 1702 and what she finally weighed in 1714?

Was she obese or was she a bit plump but also swollen up with excess fluid from her illness. The poor old thing.

I couldn't say how much she weighed . . . she had a huge appetite, but as Kim says, she might have been swollen up with fluid a lot. She had to be moved around by pulleys and ropes, not unlike Henry VIII. Mary got plump when she returned to England in 1689 too, but she was never obese . . .

Compare this to the earlier pics - it's not even a body shot but you can see how heavy she has gotten:
