i also heard that tatiana could be a little bossy somethimes

Bossy to whom? The topic is rudeness to servants. I don't think that Nicholas and Alexandra would have tolerated their children being bossy to servants.

That said, I am sure that at times Tatiana Nicholievna was bossy to her siblings, as older sibs are prone to be. And I am sure the Alexsei could be a handful, being the only boy and often ill. But, that's quite different than the more general remark.

I doubt they were bossy to the servants. I heard of Alexei being a bit selfish and bossy, but that is understandable because he was ill and often in bed.

I don't agree! I believe Nicholas and Alexandra would not allow them to be bossy.

And you base this statement on what? Your opinion? If you have some factual knowledge, kindly cite a source.

If I was a princess and had servants, and was in a bad mood, I would still be respectful.

Excuse me, but speculating on how you would behave should you have both a servant and a bad mood and then saying that the Imperial children would behave the way you thing you would is simply inappropriate. Not to mention, it's not credible.

There is a world of difference between "could be possible" and "was, for a fact". HERE we deal in what "was, for a fact".  Speculation goes into the "Having Fun" Thread.

Please don't say "Alexei was bossy", just because it was "possible".  that is bad history.  This forum is dedicated to examination of the evidence to determine what really happened. You are obviously a young person, so we just want you to learn the difference between making stuff up because it may have been "possible" and what history is all about.  You have to have genuine evidence to support a statement like "Alexei was bossy" or "Tatiana was bossy", you can't just say so because maybe its possible.

Honestly, the first hand sources I have seen all indicate that Alexei was a polite young man, albeit with a sometimes stubborn streak.  After the one incident with the soldier in the lake, Alexei seems to have learned his lesson.

I think the most telling evidence about how all the Imperial Family treated their servants is the fact that their closest servants followed them into exile and death.  Clearly, there was a devotion on both sides between them.

I have read this thread and it's a bit confusing re posters "Nicole 123" and "Beauty Queen."  Both seem to waffle and shift in supporting each other's views, or changing the emphasis slightly (especially when challenged by more experienced posters, not only on this thread but on many others, especially relating to the younger members of the Imperial Family), but it is understandable in that I believe it has been determined that both are the SAME person or as has been referred to elsewhere in the thread "Tsarevich Alexei Nicholaievich 'Stomach and kidney problems'.":   "Beauty Queen aka Nicole."  If this is indeed the case, is this dual  "other account"  identity a common practice with posters? What purpose does it serve?  Interesting!

There is not one shred of evidence that any member of the Imperial Family showed any form of impropriety towards their staff.
