The Crown on the picture was made on occasion of the Inthronisatian of King Willem II in 1840,as well as the Scepter and Orb.The Crown is never put on the head of a Monarch,but sits with the Orb and Scepter on the Credence-Table in front of the Monarch during the ceremony at the Nieuwe Kerk,Amsterdam.It is more the symbolic and historical value then anything else.It's made of silver with a layer of gold leaf,adorned with "coloured stones"and pearls.There used to be more pearls as well as real gems.

This is the beautifull diadem HM used on her wedding day,march 10th 1966.

this diadem is used most by HM,partly to it being lightweight as HM suffers from migraine often,allthough she never shows that,there's always her smile.

One of the tiara's from Luxembourg. It was the one that was usually worn by GD Charlotte.

I wish I had more to show from Lux., but I only have two. Here's the other one:
The Chaumet tiara from Luxembourg. I've never seen a pic of anyone wearing it, except for a postage stamp of GD Charlotte. It's a lovely piece... simple yet bold... my kind of tiara.

Nerdycool,I've seen the late GrandDuchess Josephine Charlotte wearing it quite often,but can't seem to find a pic of that right now.In fact there must be a lot of pictures with the late GrandDuchess while wearing both diademes I'm sure.So far I've only seen the present GrandDuchess wearing the Chaumet diadem once.

The search begins! Anyway, I have seen other Grand Duchesses wearing the first diadem, but it seems that Charlotte was photographed in it more. There are a few other tiaras they wear, but the main pics have been taken down because they were on the royal jewels sites.

Queen Fabiola,it shows a picture with the Medicinali tiara(can also be worn as a necklace,a gift from Spain on occasion of her wedding).
