I  thought I read somewhere that this stomacher was a piece from Wurttemberg King Wilhelm l and that he had ordered to make two similar stomachers for his daughters Sophie and her sister Marie. I thought this because the stomacher from Marie returned to the Wurttemberg royal family and became part of the Wurttemberg "crown jewels". Princess Marie left all her jewelry to the Wurttembergs since she was childless. In the description of he inheritance a similar stomacher was described. Thats why I thought they came from Wurttemberg. However I must say that a stomacher from Maria Feodorowna sounds quitte impressive.

Queen Juliana with a fortune of diamonds. The crown parure topped y the earlier mentioned Stuart diamond (about 40 carat). This diamond belonged to Mary Stuart ll. A brooche and necklace with old  so called "housediamonds", the bracelet which was gift of Indonesia to Juliana (1700 diamonds) and a watch mounted with diamonds.

phhuuufff,phhuufff....I first had to dust off this thread again....

It's been too long since any of the parures were last shown in full splendour, but with the State Visit to Argentina later this month, the incoming State Visit from Luxembourg from april 24th till 26th,and the State Visit to Latvia in may,Belgium in june,20th-22nd finally justice will be done again to one of the worlds most beautifull collections,or parts of it.For the Luxembourg visit I count on the Saphire parure for HM and the Chaumet tiara for the Grand Duchess, for Belgium the Pearl drop tiara.
As for Argentina,I'm not sure it will be full parures, but it will impress I'm sure.
