Oh yea, Andy and I talked on AIM about this. :) Except we didn't have outside input and so we didn't know that she was rude...lol

I would play Tatiana. She is my favorite and I look like her. Plus, I don't need to be very expressive as Tatiana didn't really show her emotions.  :)

I think I would be Olga, considering that I'm kind of quiet, yet I show some emotion. I also have a temper (Don't worry, I rarely use it ::)) But then again, Tatiana might fit too.

*laughs*Exactly. ;D I did hear though somewhere that once Mashka smacked Olga and Tatiana because they wouldn't let her play with them or something,not sure if it's true or not though. ???

I believe that that particular incident occured when Maria was a very young child.  As we are all aware, young children have a very hard time controling what they are feeling, or expressing it in words. I don't think that the event mentioned above is enough to determine her character, but I also think she was human.  Therefore, she probably had her share of temper outbursts, rudeness and any other negative emotion that we all feel and struggle with daily.

I would love to play any of them, being an actress and drama queen by nature I would put my life, heart, soul, mind, spirit, aura, body etc into it, but I think I would most like to play Olga or Tatiana. I know! Let's write and organize a play about NAOTMAA! We could have a set venue, etc and could call ourselves the Alexander Palace Time Machine Drama Club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How cool would that be? Devoting every play to the Romanovs and Imperial Russia (We could do 'Le bourgeious gentilhomme' - the play that Maria and Anastasia acted parts of in August 1912!)
