I would probably play Alexei best.. but seeing as I'm a girl XDD Maybe not.

Out of OTMA I think I could play any of them. I've been involved in theatre classes for about ten years and one of the things we learned in my classes was how important it is to be able to play various kinds of personalities/characters so you don't wind up locking yourself out of potential roles. So I could probably give a decent performance for any of them with a little time to prepare/research, but if I had to pick just one that I'd probably have the most fun with... either Tatiana because I have personality like hers or Anastasia because whenever I'm onstage I like to make everything I do "big" and she has the kind of personality where you could really have a ball with her character :)

It's a natural thing to do Aloysha,   I have been in my local community theatre group for 12 years.

My first role was a spoof on Helen of Troy.  When I found out who I was, I researched Helen of Troy and was like "Ah I get the line "Don't forget Paris.""

After that whatever character I was given I pick a background story and see what I could bring to life for the stage.   When I met my partner, I played Rosie from "Stepping Out" who had to endure racial comments and a brother (it actually was son) who couldn't find work.  It was a good role.

My most memoriable was Man Friday from the story of Robinson Crousoe.   It was a panto. :p

I would play a horse.

Well,if I had to choose it would be Maria because she's the only one I look even the tiniest bit like and have a similar personality to.But I'm not exactly what you'd call an angel :)

I think I would play Tatiana. We're very alike. I have her eyes and nose. And I'm kinda bossy too  :D

In my last year of high school we were going to do a play titled OTMA: Four Sisters based in January 1913. There were songs, and the History Department was behind the historical accuracy. Out of the female roles they needed three mezzo sopranos for Olga, Tatiana and Maria and two altos for Anastasia and Alexandra but you also needed to know how to act.

I auditioned for one of the girls-it didn't matter-and auditioned with A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes from Cinderella. That Monday I was given the role of Tatiana. The play was impressive as a whole; the dresses matched the ones from pictures (the colours guessed or taken from books and letters), hairstyles from that year for example. It was amazing to star in.

Anyway, a friend noticed that I was cast not because of my singing but because of my height for instant, general bossiness and comparing pictures I did look like her. So I would play Tatiana. :)

Since I'm a guy, I can't play any of them.
Cats: You just gotta love them!
