Dear members,

I deleted some old posts here, where the pictures were obviously taken away and were not to see anymore...

Hi, the new pictures are very nice!!! I hope I wasn´t the only one, who couldn´t see the old pictures anymore, and so deleted them. Please tell me, if so... :-\

Especially the one with the signature is very beautiful and was new to me! Is it a postcard? Is it from ebay or something? Very nice ;)

I don´t know it for sure, but I never saw pictures of her with her father, apart from those, when she was a child. Maybe some other specialists know more :P

Erzsi was born on september 1883 and her father´s death apparently through suicide happened on january 1889. So, the archduchess has five years and four months.
I don´t know much about Erzsi´s childhood, so I can´t tell you how the death of her father affected her while she was growing up. I really want to know more about her relationship with her paternal grandparents and her aunts, and also about her relationship with her own mother. Stephanie had not the support and emotional protection of the imperial family after the tragedy. I read somewhere (I don´t remember why...) that her mother in law, Sissi, blamed her for the unhappiness of Rudolf...and, in some ways, for the sad story between Rudolf and Mary Vetsera.

Apparently, the relationship with her mother, at least in later years, was not good at all.
