Oh I don't know about that.......

I think that Wallis looks fabulous in this hat, but then it it is a very simple style, almost maculine in feel, that suits the rather angular quality of her features.

Very chic......

I'm with Eddieboy on this one. Masculine hats on women =  :P :P :P for me.

I do agree. Maybe if they had been a little more feminine....Still she usually got it right  :)

Well each to their own...... ;)

Personally, I would say that this is my favourite of Wallis's hats......

Lol, the 'Justin Timberlake' look. He always wears hats like that, tilted to one side. ;D ;)

Then again, all of Wallis' hats look like masterpieces of style compared to the devices, ornaments, bird's nests and alien space crafts "old Sofa" puts on her head.

Are you sure it is "Justin Timberlake's look"?

I think is more correct to say "Wallis Simpson's look" since she was used the tilted hat to one side before JT.

LOL  ;D ;D ;D

Wallis's wedding hat was a beauty and the dress was gorgeous too (but you'd have to be extremely skinny to wear such a skimming dress); and I like the trilby she wore in the photo with David.  Even the little pixie hat's nice.  I don't think she'd really have suited the 'confectionery' kind of hats that Queen Elizabeth wore - too ornate and fussy.  With such angular features and, well, boyish figure, Wallis was much better sticking to the close-fitting neat hats she chose.  I know it's going against most of the correspondents here, but I like Wallis's choice of hats almost as much as I liked her jewellery.

Okay, okay, I know it's St. Patrick's Day, but this one had me rolling on the floor...clearly she must be trying to show off a great sense of humour!

Thanks to Marianne of GREMB for finding this gem!
