What a great photo!
The painting of the little angels by Raphael is one of my favourite works of art, and it's lovely to see it replicated by the archduchesses.

She looked beautiful in that dress. Too fuzzy to look at details and jewels though...Thanks for sharing...

Whenever I see a photo of Miana, she looks like a frightened mouse.

She became engaged to Siegfried duke in Bavaria, but the engagement was soon broken (apparently due to Siegfried's madness).

I think it was a blessing for her.

What became of her after the engagement was broken ? No other suitors ? Did she live with her Mother until her death ?

AFAIK she lived with her sister Elisabeth at the end of her life.

Any photos of an elder Miana ? She seems to have vanished after WW 1.

In this thread is mentioned a book about her. I've never seen the book on sale, and besides, my german isn't that good. Any highlights ?

Thanks for your replies.

The book can still be found on amazon.de Erzherzogin Maria Annunziata (1876-1961). Die unbekannte Nichte des Kaisers Franz Joseph I

Here's her photo in 1936
