I hope your mum gets over the present crisis soon and makes a complete recovery. I know it must be very difficult for you at present but I'm sure she will get well soon. My best wishes for her speedy recovery.

I don't read this Forum as currently as I must do, but I was very sadened when I learned about your mother's health, Merrique. I'm praying for her sincerily. Please keep us updated. I'm also lighting a candle for her.

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. My father isn't doing very well right now. His cholesterol is to the roof, he has to go to the ER all the time because his potassium levels are way too high, something is up with his heart but we don't know what yet (goes to the doctor tomorrow), and his left elbow has been swollen and none of the doctors are doing anything about it. It looks as if it has gone to the bone and I'm very afraid of what will happen if they don't do anything about it soon.

My dog Chip died on New Years Eve. He was only six years old. He was hit by a car and died instantly. Rest in Peace, my best friend!

I don't want to add to the sadness any, but I too need some prayers. My 19 year old and 20 year old cousins, who are like a brother and sister to me, are in critical condition in the hospital right now. They were hit by a drunk driver after driving home from my 21st birthday party at 1:00 this morning.

Any prayers for my aunt, uncle, Jenn and Jarrett(my cousins), along with the rest of my family would be greatly appreciated.

My mother-in-law has been brought home for the last time. Her brave fight against ovarian cancer has not been won. She went into the emergency room two day ago, where it is found that the cancer has spread, and nothing else can be done. We don't know how much time she has left, only that her moments be without suffering. We ask for prayers on her behalf, and thank you for your kindness in thinking of her. From our hearts to yours, thank you. God Bless.

Dear Tania, my thoughts are with you and yours. Ovarian cancer is ghastly, my mother died from it 3 days before my hubby and i were married after only being diagnosed several months before. My heart goes out to you.
