I think I am done posting my colored pictures on these threads.Laura, myself and others have asked repeatedly for people not to be taking OUR pictures that we have worked so hard on and recoloring them.If you want to color a picture that we have done, just ask for the b+w version of it.It's not like it's hard to ask.

Taking someone elses colored pictures and recoloring them is rude and very disrespectful. But I guess the people that continue doing this don't really care about that.

I've never, ever done this. It is just plain rude, I have so many black and white images people can ask me for if they like, books, online, they're all there.

Merrique I would hate to not be able to see your work anymore because some people on the boards are  :-X :-X thick headed and don't listen. I know it gets frustrating especially when it is so easy to just ask for the b&w and it is gladly given. On the Imperial Family board there is a post about how people don't like they way they are talked to/treated, but when people do this on a regular basis , even though the Moderator of the board has asked them not to, how are the other posters on the thread suppose to feel?

I've never taken any colored pictures from these boards and recolored them. Why don't you put your names on them to stop people from doing it? Or, with all due respect, quit complaining and just tell the person outright that it's your pic they recolored.

Because it doesn't matter if you put your name on it or not, with a paint program that's easy to erase or cover up.

And by the way,it's not your work getting recolored now is it?If it was you'd feel the same way all of us feel.
You're right I should address directly to the person/people that keep doing this but I'd rather not get banned for this childish crap. The words I would use would be far less than kind and I don't want to get accused of personal attacks.

Clockwork>> most of the artists that get their work recoloured DO put their names on it. They get cropped out and/or covered up. Some colourings that people re-colour know that they are recoluring someone else's picture.

In the future... if anyone thinks or knows of a re-colouring, PM me and let me know. I'll get to the bottom of it and we'll resolve it between us in PMs. If anyone wants to colour a picture in the future, use the ORIGINAL picture. If we are still having problems, I'll talk with the FA and we might not be able to have "coloured" pictures anymore if people can't respect one another.

No, but I have had things I've written online stolen from me, and I know how irritating it is. That's why I know "please stop, I'm not naming names" doesn't work. I apologize if I sounded rude, I truly didn't intend to. But you have to be firm and direct with these people.  :-/
