Completely insane question
« on: September 25, 2005, 09:24:16 PM »
Okay, I've been wanting for years to write a story combining Evgeni Plushenko with NAOTMAA. What sort of circumstance would have to occur in order for Evgeni (who dreams he is in 1913) to stay with or near the family and befriend them until execution? LOL the scenario I have is rather ridiculous so far.

VIVE_HIH_Aleksey, have you watched the movie "somewhere in time" starring christopher reeve and jane seymour? i think a story like that would help you to create an idea. :)

Thanks I will be sure to check it out! I have heard the gorgeous main theme played a few times by various artists.

Very good idea! He could either time travel with Rufus from Back to the Future, or maybe skate in a scary forest through a time warp to the past, or something like that?

I also want to say, I am totally serious, I like stuff like this, and I write SW alternate universe stories, so I would love to see this! Please write the story and let us read it, even if it never gets made into a film? I have fantasized about going back in time and saving them since I was 12, but using the cute ice skater is a fantastic idea!

Ohhhh I think I phrased it wrong.

I already have him in 1913. I want to know what event would make Nicholai and Alexandra offer him a place to stay LOL.

And thank you Annie!!! I will definitely post it somewhere, at a Plushenko message board and/or here if the admins wouldn't mine (I would post it in the Having Fun forum of course). Glad you're interested in it!

i think he is an ice skater, is that it? maybe he is given the chance to perform for them :D maybe he is really an entertainer in 1913 and the one now is named after him, the ice skater for the tsar, that sounds impressive!

...and one of the OTMA fell in love with him (though he's already married, doesn't he?) ;D

LOL well, my story takes place in June 2002, for good reason. It will be revealed at the end of the story. So he is not married at this point LOL.

I originally started this with Lanie, but due to time, energy, lack of interest we never got it done so I am attempting to do it on my own. In our tale, we originally had Olga fall head over heels for him. However, it seems needless to do that.

Maria does flirt with him big time. But in 1913 of course she was 15, and Zhenya 19.
