According of Wikipedia, of Tuberculosis

Yes, just like his brother Franz Ferdinand, he inherited their mother Maria Annunziata's lung disease. He died of tuberculosis of the lungs.

Ferdinand's wife died aged 99.
Ich aber breite trauernd aus
die weiten weissen Schwingen,
Und kehr' ins Feenreich nach Haus -
Nichts soll mich wieder bringen.

Franz Ferdinand case was pretty interesting. He had a serious case of Tuberculosis but he not only survived but he gained more weight and health after the disease, not a so common thing back in those days.
