He had a son called Mircea Grigore Lambrino, somehow adding Carol to his name at some stage, but I am not sure how or when… He was not a prince. There was a short article in a Romanian paper about Curtea de Arges in which it was said that the Romanian Church authorities have said that there is no more room (!!??) in the cemetary and that even King Carol II's resting place is a temporary one for this reason ( so that is their diplomatic response.)
He will not be buried in Curtea de Arges, even if Mircea is repatriated at some stage to a resting place somewhere in Romania. He was not a member of the Royal family.

"Prince" Carol Mircea Lambrino
BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) - "Prince" Carol Mircea Lambrino, son of the late King Carol II of Romania, whose wish to be declared legitimate son of his father was never fully realized, has died, his family said Saturday. He was 86.
Lambrino died on Friday in London after a long illness, according to a family statement.
He was the first son of Carol II, known as the "playboy king" for his romantic escapades and Ioana "Zizi" Lambrino, a Romanian ballerina.
The two were married in Odessa, Ukraine, in 1918 but the marriage was annulled a year later because royal rules introduced in the 19th century to stop feuding among the aristocracy banned heirs to the throne from marrying Romanians.
Lambrino was born in Bucharest on Jan. 8, 1920, after the annulment. He emigrated with his mother as a child and lived in Paris and London.
After a long court case, a Romanian court recognized him as Carol's son in 2003 and his birth certificate was changed. Courts in Portugal and France recognized Lambrino as Carol's legitimate son in the 1950s.
Former King Michael, Carol II's son from his marriage to Queen Helen of Greece, contested the decision to declare Lambrino a legitimate son, and Romania's top court, the Supreme Court, has not yet ruled on Michael's appeal.
Lambrino visited his homeland in 2005, his only visit since Romania's 1989 anti-communist revolt. It was the first time he had returned to Romania since he attended the funeral of his grandmother Queen Marie in 1938.
Carol II renounced his throne to marry his third wife, Elena Lupescu, and live in exile following a romantic liaison which scandalized Romania. The remains of the two were repatriated in 2003 and reburied in Romania.
Michael was made king for three years as a child and later ruled Romania again from 1940 to 1947 when he was forced to abdicate as the communists swept to power.
Lambrino's funeral will be held at the Romanian Orthodox Church in London. He is survived by his third wife and two sons, Paul and Alexandru. It was not immediately clear whether his wish to be buried in Romania would be granted.
