Evidently you did NOT read my post above which quotes Greg King telling us there is no known untouched versions of FS.

That was well before the faded out one showed up here. Someone in Europe, I forget who, had it.

Perhaps it might be suggested, to avoid comparison and the posts like mine and Annie's about FS,  it would be best to ask for photographs of Anna Anderson after she jumped into the Berlin canal.

How can you get pictures of AA before she jumped into the canal?   Other than that one of FS, we have none. Those who believe she was AN would post AN pics. Those who believe she was a Cheka plant or mysterious identical cousin would have no pics at all.

What do you want, pictures of AA only? Then why have there been a multitude of AA next to AN? And if AA is to be posted next to AN, why not FS? Are some not intending to 'compare' AN and AA by posting those pics? It that what this is about, you can compare her to AN but not FS? Why else would AA/AN pics be okay then if it's only about AA?

To reply to you I am going to repost my original response that answers your question:

"The original poster asks specificully for pictures of 'Anna Anderson' so that's just what I'm pointing out when people post comparison pics becasue that would probably turn this into a messy argument between people pro AA and anti AA. If you scroll up the thread you will see that I have also asked a AA supporter to try and avoid posting pics of AN & AA to make comparions because it is just re-treading old ground.

This is nothing about my own beleif any more becasue I'm very confused with the whole issue so I try to avoid brining my own view point itno play.

I hope you understand and it's would proably be a good idea for someone to start a new thread for the specific purpose of comparing pics of AA, FS and AN. "

I do hope you don't think I'm against people comparing AA & FS becasue I'm really not trying to do that. I'm quite indifferent to the whole affair now. From the beginning all I was trying to do was respect the original poster's wishes.

Even though the discussion has went way OT I hope you all enjoy it!

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this? In the few pictures we have of Anna Anderson actually smiling (because she was apparently embarrassed by her teeth and usually covered her mouth when in public, and didn't smile that often) anyway, she appears to have dimples in her cheeks when she smiles. I have looked at many photos of Grand Duchess Anastasia and have never noticed dimples. Anyone agree/disagree? I don't think having dimples (or not!) is something you can change!! I'm really surprised that no one in all the many years of comparing photos and so on ever (to my knowledge) commented on this!

I do not believe AA was AN, but here I must defend her. When I was a few months old, crawling around the house, the bungee cord that at the time held the stove door to the stove caught my attention. My mother turned from the sink to find me lashed to the outside of the oven...voila, automatic dimple.
