Dearest  GD Margarita.:

Maggie, you are such a dear.

I, the Tsar of all the Russias, do send to your palace my most sincere thank you for starting a new thread for our most august  communications of the Imperial Courtiers of the Realms.

A basket of goodies shall be arriving at your palace for your complete enjoyment.  Please share all round with the servants and footmen on your staff.

I do hear that Auntie Anna is doing well and getting about and going out in the park for  a ride in her pony cart.  Although I do note that I received a notice from the policeman that she tends to exceed the official palace speed limit of twenty miles per hour.  She is such a sweet dear and loves all the Grand Dcuhesses.

Thank you again and may I count on you in the future to be of service to myself if the occasion should arise?  I often need a dear and loyal  GD to do some special  assignment.

Tsar Doug

PS:  My secretary sent your picture to one of the Greek Princes.  I hear he thought you most divine. I hope that is OK.

Dear Tsar Doug, Formerly of the Cinema Firmament:

[Pant, pant] It's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with you [pant, pant] T.D., [pant, pant] and now you've enlisted one of our young people to assist you in your sudden disappearances . . . with paylola, no less!

You are soooo right, you do have lots of 'splaining to do.

Dearies,

Gosh Dougie dear, you are in a very good mood today, calling me such a sweet dear. You didn't fall of the roof(again) did you? I've seen people personalities change, after a bump on their head. What ever happens I'll be your Bonbon and make your zoop, but remember I have my 8) 8) on you, and it seems GD/Janet spotted you too. The court is gossiping enough as it is.

No need for the GD/Janet to buy a new pair of Adidas, she can put on her high heels again. I can do very well on my own right now. I've hired a cossack to carry around.
I'm very fond of the GD but I do need some privacy. Three is simply too much in the pony chart- the cossack, me and the GD. Not to mention the wait of my blings, the poor little pony.

Well, as Tsar D. mentioned I do love you all, some more some less, but that's life I guess.

Have to go, another ride with the pony cart in the park.

"Ouch :o :o I told you to carry me in your arms not over your shoulder like an old bag. Please hurry up a bit I can see the GD/Janet waving, ooh no she wants to come along. Don't push me in the cart, you..........  :-X Remember I'm royal, so handle with care, thank you very much" >:(

Look what happens when taking too much red M&Ms.

I'm not carrying the cossack around, he's carrying me, but of course I expect you dearies would understand. ;D

You know maybe those Red M&Ms really gave you energy enough to carry him around...

Dearest Claimants:

I know I have some nerve in saying this, but perhaps we should be easing off the red M & Ms. After all, we are white Roosians.  ;)

As for carrying Cossaks around, I'm way ahead of you. In fact, I used to star in an old vaudeville act in which I would carry a Cossak aroud, singing "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother." (Of course, he wasn't really my brother, wink wink nudge nudge.)

Now that autumn is here, mayhap all of you are looking over your autumn schedule (pronounced SHED u ale, of course)? Currently I am wondering where my invitation to hob nob with Prince C and his wifey during their Washington D.C. visit has wandered off to. Darn those postal delivery people anyway. And then there's the case of the missing invitation to Balmoral. In the meantime I have been getting my stag stalking outfit out of mothballs and searching for my vegetarian hagis recipe. ('Tis said you can bribe the kitchen workers at Balmoral to fix specialized meals if you slip them a basket of port in advance.) Now I am trying to decide which tartan to don on the night of the Hee-land Fling. Please advise.

P.S. Darling Ritka, of course we shall go shoe shopping. But these days I am in the market for ghilie brogues . . .

It would make me feel warm and fuzzy going shoe shopping, especially since my school doesn't have homecoming but all my best friends are going shopping for their homecoming dresses....a time for shoes indeed.

GD MacJanet dearie,

Aye my dearie what tartan to wear.
What is your clan, I happened to know the MacClaimants have lovely tartans, maybe you should choose one of those.
I must make a choice between the Mystery clan or the MacJewels, I'm still doubting.
I'm looking forward to meet the knees of all family members.

Dearest Courtiers of the Realms and Tibet:

I do note that a dear courtier named Vlad just posted the plans to the basement [ on Alex. Palace Topic] of our palace here in Tsarskoe.

I am so grateful for this act of supreme kindness.  Now I can  descend into the bowels of this palace without fear and trepidation of getting lost in that babylon of dark hallways and unknown spaces.

Also, it is a good place for GD Anna to do some detective work and try and find the 'gold room' where the former Tsar kept his famous collection of gold cigarette holders.  I know it is there and I pray that Anna can find that room in the basement.

GD Janet  is now able to find her lost self portrait statue and wigs that are stored in the basement.   I even understand that her purple painted limousine is stored  somewhere in that dark place of hiding.

Tsar Doug.........following along after the Duchesses with a flashlight and torch as they blaze the way into the basement of the palace.

Spooky things are in that basement  for sure.........yikes, bats and spiders!!!!

:o :o :o

Tsar Doug dearie,

"following along after the Duchesses with a flashlight and torch as they blaze the way into the basement of the palace".

What a hero you are hiding behind the skirts of GD/Janet and me here in the dark basement. I suggest you go ahead and we follow.

I think we are walking in circles, Im sure I've seen that empty chocolate box before. The basement is really dark and spooky. What was that...... ?
Dougie dear, stop holding the flashlight under your chin to make spooky faces, that's not funny.
Ouch, that's the second time you stand on my foot and keep your hands out of my coiffure. Ooh sorry that was a bat. Bats :o :o
We must hurry to find the gold and GD/Janet's stuff, we don't want to miss the Hee-Land Fling. Don't you think so Janet?

GD/Janet.........Janet.....  ??? :o

I could swear she was right behind me a minute ago.

Hé who did that who pinched me?

Anna 8) tho not visible, with fear in her eyes.

My apologies, Ritka, I spelled ghillies incorrectly, with only one "l." No wonder you were confused! But of course we must purchase our ghillies soon, otherwise it just won't be a Hee-land Fling without them.

Yes, it is very annoying when Tsar Doug tries to hide behind my skirts, especially when my skirts are mini-skirts. Most inappropriate.

And then, of course, he likes to play his little games with flashlights. But I confess . . . once upon a time I encouraged him by placing a small Batman cutout on the flashlight's face, then projecting it upon Tsarkoe's city walls. What consternation it created, as all of Tsarkoe thought a Superhero was on his way. SMASH! POW! BAM!!

And yes, as GD Anna indicates, wandering about the palace basement is no place to be unless you wish to be pinched.

Hey everybody! Slow down! Only one at a time down those basement steps!!  :o

Yours for theatrics and That Scottish Play--

GD/GP Janet
