I just don't think anyone really could've outdone Gene Wilder in Chocolate Factory - IMO he was just perfect for the role of Willy Wonka. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Speaking of Johnny Depp roles & movies, I just remembered how much I disliked Edward Scissorhands. Everyone I know loved that movie to no end, but I just found Depp almost painfully creepy! Which is odd, because I've always been a fan of creepy!

Oh and Under Siege. My dad loves it(he's a big fan of Steven Segal) but I think it's TERRIBLE. Ugh.

I must agree with the majority of the opinions on "The Phantom Of The Opera" movie.  The voices were absolutely horrid, and the girl who sang Christine's part could use a little more vocal training.  You could hear every breath that she took, and at some points she sounded plain raspy.  The actor who played the Phantom left a lot to be desired as well, and I'm not even going to mention the boy who played Roul *shudders*...what absolute horror.

However, in defense of the film, it did have excellent sets, costumes and special effects.

I love them, except Lloyd Webber.

I didn't think 'Along Came Polly' was very funny, and too predictable.

I didn't like 'Lord of the Rings' and hated 'Star Wars'.

Lord of the Rings was okay, but it was just too long. Star Wars has been steadily getting worse and worse since the Phantom Menace. The new one is supposed to be the last movie, but there is still 7, 8, and 9 that could possibly be made.

Nope, they will be no more Star Wars. I LOVE the original trilogy (check my avatar  ;D) but didn't like Episode I. Episode II was ok and III is brillo soap pads.  ;D

The three LOTR films are all brilliant IMHO but I can understand some people not enjoying the length of them.
