trying to find a russian movie

Hi,

I am trying to find a russian movie which I watched several times in The Movie Network (TMN) channel in Canada Toronto.  I can not remember the name.  I really have to find the movie as I am very much impressed by the movie.

I watched it in the television between the years 2003-2006.  I don't know the release date.  The movie was in Russian.  The very interesting thing about the movie was that it was taking place in a very big palace like house and the whole movie followed a man walking in that house and talking about various subjects.  The camera kept following him.

It was beautiful.  Please help me find the name, director of the movie.  I hope someone in this forum knows the movie and can help me.

yesssssss!  and unbeliable it is!  I sent this question, lefty my laptop for few hours came back and just browsing the topics, I saw a topic few lines above my topic 'russian ark' and I suddenly remembered the name and going in and reading it.  I found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Then I logged in to reply and saw your reply.  Thank you.  Yes this is the movie and I loved it.  It is like one of my dreams.
