"I see nothing but good things in his future... Of course, I could be wrong."

Am I the only one who laughed at this?  Not in a "funny-ha-ha" way, but in a "Ouch, that hurt!" way.

And why is she always wearing it "backwards" to the way that Nicholas is wearing his?

It is sort of like the "tea scene" in Russian Ark where Alix is going to tea with only her husband and children but she is wearing furs and tiara!!

It might have been a suggestion of what was to come, or it might just have been that Natalie and her family were Russian and venerated the IF and so, like a lot of people put up a picture of those they like or venerate on the fridge where is can bee seen on a daily basis.

I am not a film student, but that is what I would have thought.       :-)

I guess the producers were thrying to make sure they looked "Imperial" enough? What they hay,  it is  just a  silly science fiction TV show, not really going for historical acxcuracy. I thought it a bit funny.

Actually, she is a great physical choice for Alexandra.  Not so much the Nicholas.

Considering the symptoms of hemophilia and the medical consequences at the time - an interesting concept to link Rasputin to vampirism.  Although he "cured" Alexei it was during his bouts with the disease that he was the most weak and pale.  He hardly ever bled externally.

Some writer with an historical fascination and a good imagination was working on that show.

Nick Knight also came in contact with Jack the Ripper.

As I said, I actually have watched a few episode on my nights with insomnia (sort of like tonight) but I never saw any of the season with the historical flashbacks.  From what I can get out of Amazon, it was season #2.

This episode was the 12th from season 3. It was called "Strings" if I'm not mistaken...

There is a new vampire show on HBO, I think it's called True Blood. Sounds really weird, along the lines of Forever Knight. I wonder if they will also have an episode on the Romanovs, lol.   http://nab365.bdmetrics.com/NST-2-50082343/Vampires-May-Be-the-New-Lifeblood-of-HBO.aspx

i love animaniacs and all their references but i have to say this was in poor taste, especially the beginning and end, considering he's a saint who was brutally murdered. but i know that no malice was intended :) it's still an interesting episode.
i actually thought this was going to be a link to another animaniacs parody. I'm surprised that animaniacs did more than 1 russian parody. it's a pinky and the brain episode: Pavlov's Mice. the premise is to get rich off the crown jewels. Narf!

ok, this is pathetic that i noticed this, but it looks like when the emperor is on the balcony, the men on his left are the same as the men in the rasputin episode.

Just an update to mention that the videos might be coming up soon.  I think I've solved the mystery of the game crashes and intend to record the game from start to finish.

I remember that short!  I tend not to get really offended by their jokes, though.  They slam (and slam hard) a lot of people, not just Rasputin, and very rarely do they ever seem to want to intentionally hurt anybody.

Although I hate Animatics and I found it quite funny. Just until I realized that the next time they may want to make something funny of Lidice.... They could easily make up a king and his evil vizier, but not to give them such specific location and names.

On old Play Station, there was a story of  Anastasia (not the 20th century one) and it was badly drawn and the voice acting sucked, it was a movie/story and it had puzzles.
