At the end of the meal, she showed Father Stanislas a pic of her daughter-in-law Henriette with her sister Josephine, their mother & children that had just arrived from Brussels and said : "What is loveliest in this picture is my little granddaughter". I wonder if it was this very picture.

Mary was, I believe, a sister or a niece of King Carol I of Romania.
