Are Gustav and Nathalie Berleburg still single?

Hereditary Prince Gustav zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is dating a girl rather seriously, seriously enough for her to have attended Prince Philipp of Hesse's wedding in early June with the Berleburgs.

benedikte retained her dynastic rights.  Her children do not have dynastic rights due to crtieria set up at the time of the marriage.  Gustav was born in Germany, but the girls were born in Denmark. This did not make them citizens of Denmark. Nathalie and Alexandra have both acquired Danish nationality.

Prince Richard retained his German citizenship?  I did not know that.  I was under the impression that when Danish dynasts married a foreigner they had to give up their citizenship and take Danish citizenship or the dynast would lose his/or succession rights.   I know that Princess Alexandra had to give up her citizenship when she married Prince Joachim and become a Danish citizen.

How or why was Princess Benedikte exempted from this?

Isn't Gustav bounded by his grand-father's will to marry some girl f equal rank ?

What's Carina Axelsson's background, nationality, etc ?

Does anyone when Prince Gustav's request to nullify his grandfather's will should be heard in the German Courts? What is the normal timeframe for cases to be heard in the German Courts?

Thank you Lucien!

I didn't realize that the European courts could overrule the German Courts.

I read in a Danish magazine some time ago that prince Gustavs's case will be heard in the course of
2007. It was also mentioned that there was another similar ongoing case , which was
expected to set a precedence for Gustav's case. I for one would be very surprised
if it didn't turn out in his favour!

No,not a candidate, but he did act as a decoy to fool each and everyone while she and our late beloved Claus were starting to develop what became the true love story,if there ever was one in Royal circles,we've witnessed for over 3 decades.
