Hi, Mutley here at last!

Seems I registered about 7 years ago and for some reason did not progress the matter ::) :-[

Anyhow, I intend to put up a couple of posts very soon :)

Hello to everyone!

I'm a total newbie and this is my first post.

I happened upon this forum by chance and I'm so happy to find a place to discuss one of my favorite topics - the Russian Imperial Families and royalty in general.

I'm currently readingThe Last Empress, by Greg King, and his point of view is different from many of the other books I've read about Alix/MF. I'm fascinated!

I look forward to learning how the forum works and contributing to the discussions. :))

Hello everyone!

I'm Ceridwen but you can call me Ceri. I live in Wichita Kansas and love studying about history especially Tsarist Russia and England under the Tudors and the Stuarts.  I also like medieval history and ancient Rome and Egypt.  I think I first became interested in the Romanovs while in high school and our history teacher showed us the movie Nicholas and Alexandra. History is an interest of mine but my career is teaching. I teach preschool and I love it. (Yes, 3-4 is a bit young to start teaching about history) Other inters of mine include sports, (Go K. State, Go Chiefs, Go Royals) computers, sloths, horses, cats, and reading. I look forward to reading and participating in the discussions here. It looks like I can learn a lot here.
