From a letter to her father, 19 July, 1916

...Ania received a letter from Kozhevnikov in Hong Kong of the 29th of June...How good it would be to go on that journey. I would go with great pleasure...

Is the book in English?  Or Russian?

You can find a few letters of Tatyana from Tobolsk in Eugénie de Grèce's book about Aleksei. They are very sweet!  :)

1 January 1916
Tsarskoe Selo

Papa dearest!
How boring it is without you today. We were at Liturgy and at our hospital for a little bit before it started. Mama's lying down so we 5 ate breakfast by oursleves in her study. It is dreadfully cold today - in the morning -20, now not so bad as the sun is shining. We had a moleben (intercessory prayer service) last night at 10:30 and after that went to bed. Alexei got moving telegrams froma ll his foreign friends at Stavka. He was very pleased. How are things at Mogilev - cold? Do you have lots of snow or what?
During the day Ania called us 5 over. Irina Tolstaya, Rita Hitrovo and her younger sister Lyuba were there. We played various games with them, and hide-and-seek. There wasn't much room, but we turned out the lights and that made it much better. Alexei had a good time.
Well then. Greet Silayev and Mordvinov. God protect you, dearest, darling Papa. I hug you strongly and strongly with love. Your very own loving
 Voznesenets

Yes, this  word/name is analogous to Marie's  "Kazanets". It's for Voznesenski  and refers to Tatiana's honorary colonelcy of the ------ Voznesenski Regiment. Your question is straining my shaky memory but the regimental number  is  8th or 3rd. I confuse it with Olga's regiment's number sometimes. Maybe Sarushka could clarify.

And Georgiy : Keep up the good work ! Your efforts are appreciated by all of us with a serious Romanov addiction.

Olga: 3rd Elizavetgradsky Hussars
Tatiana: 8th Voznesensky Uhlans (Lancers)
Maria: 5th Kazansky Dragoons
Anastasia 148th Kaspiansky

I think I'll make a thread to put this info (& photos) all in one place since it seems to come up regularly. ;)
