It's a really good book and, yes, it does take the form of a large, coffe-table size photo album. It has just tons of great photos. The publisher, Leppi, also did Romanovs: Love, Power and Tragedy, so if you've seen that one you know what the Nikola & Milena book looks like. It's has glossy pages, all with photos on them and the text isn't straight biographical, it's more like individual essays that trace the family and Nikola's reign. There are sections on each of their children, though a disappointingly small amount on Anna, who married Franz Joseph of Battenberg. The subtitle given on the cover says "The Rise and Fall of Montengro's Royal Family told through Family Albums and Diaries". It's a little less than 350 pages.
