I would like to see a bigger version of the 1922 wedding picture with guests of King Alexander I of Yugoslavia and Princess Marie of Romania. On this photo were presents princesses Helen and Irene of Greece, the Duke of York, Queen Marie and King Ferdinand of Romania, Victoria Melita, etc... If you have this pic, can you post it here, please ?
Thanks.

Maybe either yourself or somebody you're aware might be able to double check this. If you check the above picture and the description from the Library of Congress, it identifies the two people as Marie and Carol of Romania. Carol was born in 1893 and Marie was born in 1900, but those children do not remotely look like they are seven years apart in age. Just a suggestion, but far more likely candidate for the little girl is Elizabeth, their sister, who was born in 1894. Maybe you might shed some light on the matter. Another candidate is Marie and her younger brother Nicholas although does anybody else find that the two children look more like Carol and Elizabeth?

Yes, those children must be definitely Carol and Elisabeth. By the way, the picture is very nice, cute... The resemblence between Carol and his son Mihai always strikes me, when I have a chance to see their photos.

Cute kids for sure. Betting royal family's propagandists were happy since homely kids don't make for good postcards. A bit to cynical I suppose.

Carol and Elizabeth are the only 2 offspring that were never rumours that they might have been sired during one of their mother's extramarital affairs, right? Mean not stating the later sibilings were actually fathered by another man, just that the oldest son and oldest daughter's paternity was never in doubt or brought into question.

Actually got these from the Bain Collection at the Library of Congress which lists it as Carol and his sister Marie, most likely because of the erroneous caption written in at the top. Wonder how to correct the LofC?

Attached is a pic of King Alexander I announcing the name of Yugoslavia to his parliament in 1929. to his right is Minister Radoje Knezevich, but in the back right hand corner of the group is a tall, dark young officer: can anyone identify him please?

Much appreciated!

There is a photo on here that has  Marie of Romania and 2 of her daughters together It looks like a glossy sheet is over them with maire's hair in big braids on the top of her head. As I may have looked in the wrong section again. please can some one find this photo?

This portrait was hanging in the House of Prince Paul and Princess Olga of Yugoslavia in Paris...as far as I can see both their sons were "darker" haired,so don't know whose portrait could this be...maybe of Prince Nicholas,Olga's father?Or maybe even Prince Philipp?Anyone?
