That IS Nicholas. At least I believe so. Where did you find the information of it being Alexander?

It was originally posted as Nicholas II on romanovillage but TheMauveRoom tumblr said it was Alexander. They also posted this photo of Nicholas when he was around 14 and while they do look similar you can see differences in the face.

Not exactly a photo of Alexander but I thought it was really cute

Emile Jumeau,circa 1892,the doll represents the Russian Tsar Alexander III in full regalia costume at the time of the signing of the Franco-Russian Alliance in 1892.
