For me it's a mystery what happened with the photoalbums of Maria F. Because she was also one of the earliest keen photographers in the Russian Imperial Family. She liked to be photographed and do it herself, so were are all those photographs?

I think in the Archives - The Royal Danish and the State Russian.

Cheer up Eddieboy_uk!
Pictures are a universal language. And if you’re curious about a particular one, you can just ask the many knowledgeable on the forum :D

That would give us a great insite of her, if someone tries to get hold on her albums. Maybe, we will some more pictures of her and Alix and her and her grandchilderen and other family members.

Hi Robert:

Are you really sure you need this new book?   ;) :D ;) :D ;) ::) ::) ::) 8)

Maybe wait for a week and then search your heart to see if you really desire this new book.

How about a cooling off period. ;D :D ;) :)

Of course, if it were me I would just get the book and full steam ahead.

When I want something I usually don't even think twice about it....I just go for it ;)

Well, I think it will be at bookstores in Saint-Petersbourg and Moscow soon, now it's available only on Russian Internet shop www.ozon.ru.

I've bought from ozon.ru and had no trouble at all. The site seemed secure, and the book came in good time. If you don't read Russian, it'll be a challenge to navigate their site, though...  :-\

Super! I'm happy to hear you own it Sarushka!
Would you say it's one of those pictorial publications that one "has" to own?  :)

Oh! I actually bought a different book from Ozon.ru back in January: Divnyi Svet.

I haven't yet seen this new book on MF, but I'm terribly tempted by it.  :-\

Does someone know, trough which European bookshop you can get this book?
