Any Aussies out there??
« on: November 04, 2005, 06:16:27 AM »
Are there any Aussies out here in the forum?? If there are--what part of Australia do you live in?? Not trying to be prying or anything....also, your favourite footy/rugby/cricket team could also be an option..

Thanks,

Kimberley

I still cannot believe Leo Barry took that freak mark.....but I guess that's his trademark....

Leo Barry's soaring mark in the dying seconds of the game was unbelievable, his nickname is Leaping Leo.Shame about the Eels and Dragons that week off did'nt help them, good to see West Tigers beat the Cowboys in the Final. Regards Stephen. ;)      Day light saving started last week, it finishes 02/04/06 due to the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, do you like it in SA  ;)

It's nice here in SA but I hate daylight saving....always gets me confused...

Glad that the Cowboys lost.......It's time for Adelaide to take over now. 8)

Romios--Do you see the Blues winning a premiership in the years to come?? I personally think Dennis Pagan needs to get his facts straight...

I love Australia!  Does that count?

I have been twice to OZ and stayed a month each time. [My first visit to OZ actually changed my life in many ways.]

I have friends near Blacktown NSW and up in Newcastle.

I found OZ to be a very clean and beautiful place.  There is only one problem.....I live in America and OZ is too far away. :-/

Hi Douglas,

It's only around sixteen hours over the pond between two great countries! I have done it quite a few times.

Sydney Born and bred here - grew up in the Canterbury Bankstown area and supported the "Berries" as they were known back then, now the Bulldogs - moved away a few times but always come back.

Well not sure that today was the best day to be living in Sydney - but I like it but then I think only a person born in Sydney can put up with a lot of the traffic hassles.  But it certainly has a fair bit going for it and you can still get out of the city and in to the country side in just over an hour ( unfortunately we can't compare to Adelaide in that regard).

I lived in Adelaide for all of 1995 - loved it, thought it was great but work moved me back to Sydney, otherwise I may have stayed.
