Aren't they fabulous? The jewels of the family have always fascinated me and I love looking at them. Thanks for posting

Yes...I don't think Ducky herself had worn the sapphire tiara herself ?

i don`t think so. Miechen died in 1920 and Kyrill inherited the sapphires  so Ducky sold it immediately ( after they resolved the situation with Boris )

Such a shame they had to be sold. It would have been nice if they had stayed in the family for future generations.

Does Maria V' have any thing left from this period?

I think you mean Miechen by Maria V right ?

She left her jewels to her children. Ducky, Helen, Boris and Andrei all got a share. Thanks to Bertie Stanpost, who smuggle them out.

Helen left hers to her daughters (Olga, Elisabeth & Marina). Ducky sold most of hers and left a bit to her children (Vladimir, Mushka and Kyra) and I think Boris sold his share and Andrei's wife ( Mathilde) lost hers in the gambling tables of Monte Carlo...

I think he literally meant Maria V (Maria Vladimirovna), the daughter of GD Vladimir and granddaughter of Ducky. I believe he wanted to know if the current claimant had any of the famous jewels of her great-grandmother. This might be better answered on one of the Imperial threads, however--if it hasn't already.

You are right. However I don't see any notable heirlooms from Miechen...?

Seems Joe Boyle helped to return back a very small part of jewels but which ones I've never read exactly.
