The emerald parure of Mignon used to belong to Ella, and nobody could doubt her taste in jewels.
Only the tiara was retained though from the style it had been in 1908.The necklace was reset by Cartier (Paris) and there were reset  (or completely new?) earrings

Indeed. I like the way Ella wore it. It appears a bit more chunky in Mignon for whatever reason.

Earrings of emerald and diamond part of a pair that belonged to Princess Olga of Yugoslavia, who held her mother's Grand Duchess Helen of Russia :

This tiara was made by Boucheron for a Russian aristocrat, Princess Abamelek. She bequeathed it to her nephew Prince Paul of Yugoslavia, who offered his wife Olga of Greece :

This earring of turquoise and diamond also comes from the box of Princess Olga of Yugoslavia :

Princess Olga had some lovely jewels and wore them royally. She got some from 1. Her mother Grand Duchess Helen of Russia. 2. Her grandmother Queen Olga of Russia. 3. Her husband Prince Paul of Yugoslavia. From the first two she recieve bequests when they died and earlier wedding presents. Her husband was also very rich and gave her lovely pieces...

Yes, she has even more beautiful pieces that her sister Marina, Duchess of Kent. I think, among other things, some beautiful necklaces with several rows of large diamonds.

Indeed. I think the one that got the least was Wooley (Elisabeth). She only recieved the diamond fringe tiara from her mother and not much else.

The Russians are famous for their emeralds. Ella, Queen Olga & Miechen all have great emerald collections.

Thanks. It would be a scandal if the churchills have to sell their jewels, or that the Romanians are rich enough to buy a tiara !

Essex tiara is very famous. Look here Julianna more posing with Santa who s holding it

This was from a Cartier`s even in 2004 so probably they own the tiara now.
