Were they twins? The are no infos about it.
Maybe a false year?

The Online Gotha lists the same date as the peerage.com.  I would have to think that if any of the dates are correct, they were twins. If the mother was in a very long labor (and there wasn't really the tools to hurry it along like today) the children could be born 1, 2 or 3 days apart. If this kind of labor took place, I'm not surprised that there is a several years gap between the next child. What a nightmare!

Duchess Marie Therese gave birth to twins in 1865. I know, it's quite unusual, but Marie Amélie (December 24th) and Albrecht (December 23rd) were born on different days.

The children got their names from Queen Marie Amélie of France, Duke Philipp's grandmother, and Archduke Albrecht, Marie Therese's father.

The twins were very close and Albrecht was devastated after Marie Amélie's early death. He named one of his daughters by Archduchess Margaretha Sophia after her.

Maybe Albrecht was born on the 23. Dec at 23:55 and Marie Amelie on the 24. Dec at 00:05 that would make sense.
