Yes a very lovely and sweet girl ! Princess Alexandra of Denmark (later Queen Alexandra of Great Britian) was named after her. What afitting tribute !

I went to Schloss Fasenerie in Fulda, there is a room dedicated to her. With a small portrait of her with her dower silverware (a sliver toilette set) inside the bedroom...

It's rather unfortunate that she died early. If she lived longer who knows what she might had become considering her musical talents. Everyone in the family adores her. I heard that she was a favorite of her brother, Grand Duke Constantine Nikolaievich, and it was quite interesting to note that he married another Alexandra, Alexandra of Saxe-Altenburg, who according to contemporaries greatly resembles Alexandra Nikolaievna.

Well, there are no pictures of her as a child here.  Perhaps she grew prettier as she grew older.

I agree...some children grew into its own. Alexandra was pretty as a young woman...as was her sister Olga.

There is a beautiful portrait of Alexandra Nikolaevna in an album on webshots (she is wearing a blue and white dress); you're only allowed to save it from webshots if you're friends with the person who posted it,  and I can't find it anywhere else.  If anyone here knows what I'm talking about and is fortunate enough to have this picture in their collection, please post it.  I would be very grateful.
