As long as she paid her fine for speeding, I don't see how that would give rise to feeling she is not obliged to operate within the law.  Including myself, I'm sure she's not the only one with multiple speeding tickets.

Perhaps a person being in receipt of 'multiple' speeding tickets could be seen as having a certain disregard for the law?

Maybe it hits to close to home, as I have my multiples, but it seems to me of being more stupid once you realize you're speeding, as opposed to a disregard for the law. Obviously there are people who do pay 100percent attention to speed limits, but even going a mile over would be considered a disregard for the law. How many people would that include. The difference being some get caught and some don't .

Again, if she's not paying her fines, that's another story.

Hello all. I think the Princess Royal and APB are only good friends. And it is not true that she is often together with APB then with her husband, who is an active  Vice Admiral.
I doubt  Anne love the speculation. Sorry my English is bad. Lilly :) ;)

Well, you know if one Parker Bowles is good enough for the Prince of Wales, then the other should be good enough for the Princess Royal...

*Gasp*!  Yes, it's the 'fried egg' outfit she wore to Charles and Diana's wedding TWENTY SEVEN YEARS ago!!!!!!  If anyone gets on here professing to admire her thrift and refusal to worry about her looks, I'll scream!

I wonder if a whiff of moth-balls follows Anne around. :-)

"Oooh. Auntie's here."

"I don't see her. How do you know?"

"I just know..."

Start screaming Grace.

It's not my favorite dress, but if you're pushing 60 and can still fit into an outfit you wore over a quarter of a century ago, you like it, I say go for it.

To me, it's not even the fact that it's a recycled dress. I think it's great that she can still fit in a dress she wore almost thirty years ago. That's, what, twice in twenty seven years? Not the biggest fashion crime.

But, was it really right to wear the dress she wore to Charles and Diana's wedding, one of the biggest marital disasters of our time, to this wedding?

I don't know any woman with a shred of dress sense who would wear something this outdated for the simple reason that it still fits.  A almost 58 year old woman in pure white and canary yellow?

And as Taren has alluded to - why on earth would she wear this particular dress to her young cousin's wedding when it is still so memorable from the disaster that was Charles and Diana's marriage?
