While I certainly admire Princess Anne's thriftyness, and the fact that she couldn't care less is brilliant!!!, but it would be great to see her in some beautiful new outfits!!!

(Though I do think recycling the "fried egg" outfit that she wore to Prince Charles' wedding was a mistake!)

I hope not the brown outfit she wore to Peters wedding in 2008! Zara if you are reading this please please encourage your mother to buy Alexander McQueen haute couture  or something similar! In fact Princess Anne could learn a few tips from her sister in law the Duchess of Cornwall, who looks lovely & elegant on all the major occasions.

The Duchess Of Cornwall DOES look stylish and elegant on every occassion I must agree only...................I wish she'd get sized for her boobies.

(so much better than the purple of the April wedding )

One of the girls from my Air Cadet squadron is a Lord Lieutenant's Cadet, meaning that she accompanies the local Lord Lieutenant to some of his official duties. she was on duty on Friday when Princess Anne visited Plymouth, and tells me that Princess Anne was very pleasant and took a keen interest in what was going on (the unveiling of a restored statue of Captain Scott), though rather 'brisk'.
