Tsar Alexander l visiting his sister queen Anna Paulowna of the Netherlands. This painting was made of the visit of the future queen Anna and the tsar at the so called Tsar Peter House in Zaandam (near Amsterdam). Wiliam stand at the left of the tsar. This little house was a gift from king William l to his daughter in law Anna Paulowna. Tsar Peter the Great had lived there when he stayed in the Netherlands to learn all about shipbuilding. It is now a museum.
